Kathmandu Multi Centre Holidays 2024 / 2025

Summary

Surrounded by the majestic Himalayas, Nepal’s capital city is unlike any other in the world. Along with incredible cuisine, fresh mountain air and eye-catching temples, there are many other things to see and do in Nepal. Here’s a quick taster of what to expect.

We’d highly recommend visiting Swayambhunath, also known as Monkey Temple, for the awe-inspiring views over Kathmandu. You’ll need to navigate 365 steps to get to the top, but in our experience, it’s absolutely worth it. It’s also a historic religious site which goes back around 1,500 years.

Kathmandu is a thriving city with a lot to take in. If you need some time away from the hustle and bustle, the Garden of Dreams is the place to be. It’s incredibly relaxing and you’ll be surrounded by beautiful plants, statues, pavilions and water features. Grab a bite to eat in the cafe and think about where to go next.

In stark contrast to the tranquillity of the gardens is Asan Market. It’s a remarkable shopping experience with a huge variety of food, souvenirs, and other local wares worth exploring. It’s also a wonderful way to chat with the locals and embrace a different culture.

If you’ve got a head for heights, you may want to consider the flight of a lifetime from Kathmandu over Mount Everest and other nearby peaks. We could use all the superlatives in the world to describe the views but nothing would do them justice.

Book your multi centre trip to Kathmandu and be enthralled by Nepal.
