It’s such an important part of the country’s history when the Khmer Rouge regime reigned and committed atrocities. In total, the deaths of 1.5 to 2 million people were recorded from 1975 to 1979. Phnom Penh is also home to the National Museum of Cambodia, where you’ll find a vast selection of arts, bronzes, sculptures and more that have stood the test of time.
