Khao Lak is quieter than many other beach resorts in Thailand, so you won’t find a huge number of sights and shops. However, that’s a plus point because it means you can switch off and enjoy a lazy holiday with abundant sun, sea and sand providing a beautiful backdrop.
The beaches are the big attraction, and our three favourites are White Sand Beach, Coconut Beach and Pak Weep Beach. Imagine walking from your hotel with a good book ready to switch off for the day while listening to the waves come ashore.
