Dubai, Abu Dhabi & Maldives

If you have a head for heights, then a trip to the observation deck of Dubai’s 828 metre skyscraper, Burj Khalifa, is an absolute must. There is also a sail-shaped hotel, incredible man-made palm islands, shopping galore and even an indoor skiing and snowboarding facility. Other sports are well catered for too with immaculate golf courses, jet skiing and kitesurfing.

Indoor attractions include Dubai Aquarium and the IMG Worlds of Adventure amusement park which make for a great day out for kids and adults alike. Dubai also has its own Legoland and ice rink so you’ll never be short of places to go and have some fun. 

Abu Dhabi is the capital of the United Arab Emirates and home to some amazing thrills such as the world’s fastest rollercoaster at Ferrari World on Yas Island. With a high speed of almost 150 mph it’s not a ride for the faint-hearted. Also on the island, you’ll find Yas Waterworld which makes for another action-packed experience. 

Abu Dhabi also has many renowned shopping malls on a massive scale. Step out of the warm sunshine and browse designer labels and more till your heart’s content in the World Trade Centre or Khalidiyah Mall with its 160 stores.

There are lots of great outdoor experiences too with a number of beaches including Corniche and Saadiyat, Mangrove National Park and Emirates Park Zoo. Abu Dhabi is a versatile city with lots to do for families and couples. The city also has one of the largest mosques in the world which can hold up to 41,000 people. The Sheikh Zayed Mosque has 82 domes and a minaret which is over 100 metres tall. 

The Maldives is a tropical paradise unlike any other. The brilliant white sands, blue lagoons and green palm trees bring a soothing collection of colour all under the watchful eye of the glorious sun. It’s hard to imagine anywhere better in the world when it comes to honeymoon holidays. 

There are luxury resorts to suit all kinds of holidaymakers as well as stunning overwater bungalows which provide an early morning view you’ll always remember. And if you enjoy snorkelling and scuba diving, you’re in for the time of your life.
