Description

Many of our multi-centre trips to Canada include a visit to the mesmerising Niagara Falls – a truly unmissable experience.

Montreal is considered to be Canada’s cultural capital with a thriving arts scene. Situated on an island in the Provence of Quebec, it has something to offer everyone.

Toronto

Toronto is a multi-cultural city with a tremendous amount to offer holidaymakers of all ages. From striking buildings such as the CN Tower, to Major League Baseball as the home of the world-famous Toronto Blue Jays and a range of beautiful parks, your time in Toronto can be whatever you want it to be.

In addition, there’s everything else you’d expect from a modern vibrant city with a mind-blowing selection of restaurants, shops, theatres, museums and so much more.

In creative circles, Toronto is often referred to as ‘Hollywood North’ due to its well-established film industry. It’s a city that has a little bit of everything in just the right measure – where better for a holiday destination?

Niagara Falls

There are many ways in which to immerse yourself in the Niagara Falls experience. You can take a boat trip on the Maid of the Mist and hear the famous roar of the water as it crashes down in front of you. There’s also the Cave of the Winds that allows you to descend down into the gorge and see and feel the power of the falls first-hand from just feet away.

The Falls straddle both the USA and Canada. On the Canadian side, there are many great restaurants, hotels and family fun at Clifton Hill with its Skywheel and Wild West Coaster amongst other attractions.

Niagara Falls is often referred to as the eighth natural wonder of the world and the water has a power and raw beauty that has to be seen to be believed.

Montreal

Montreal was ruled as a French Colony until the mid-1700s and that history is still very much in evidence today. It’s the largest city in the Quebec province and the second largest in terms of population in Canada.

The combination of French history with a thriving arts scene makes Montreal a fascinating city that is truly unique in this part of the world. With bustling markets, beautiful botanical gardens, museums galore and the Notre-Dame Basilica, a visit to Montreal as part of your multi-centre holiday will live in your heart forever.

Montreal is well-known for many mouth-watering foods, with wood-fired bagels, and poutine (chips, cheese and gravy) being local favourites you should definitely try.
