Summary
Greece is home to 6,000 islands, although less than 230 of these are inhabited. In terms of holiday hotspots, it’s hard to look past the likes of Athens, Rhodes, Corfu and Santorini. Thanks to our multi-centre holidays to Greece, you can bask in the sunshine at more than one of these destinations on the same trip.
There are few places where such incredible history still lies in the present day. Some of the landmark structures in Athens date back to the 5th century BC and it’s one of the oldest cities in the world.

Greece
Description
The capital of Greece is dominated by the pillars of the past in the shape of the Acropolis and Parthenon. While unmovable reminders of ancient history capture the imagination of tourists every year, there’s a modern Athens too with a nightlife that never wants to stop, fashion boutiques and so many delicious dishes you’ve probably never tried before.
If you want to climb a little to escape the heat on a warm day, a cable car ride up Mount Lycabettus fits the bill perfectly and will reward you with sensational views from the top, over 300 metres above sea level.
Rhodes
There’s no denying Rhodes has some pretty special stretches of beach, but it also has a number of ancient ruins too if your visit to Athens has whet your appetite. A rare piece of Greek Gothic architecture can be found in the form of the Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights – a medieval castle with an interesting background.
It would be remiss of you to visit Rhodes without spending some quality time chilling out on one of the island’s dozens of beaches. Forget about everything for a while as the water sparkles under the sunlight in the distance.
Our Athens and Rhodes multi-centre holiday is an absolute classic. Book yours now.
Corfu
The Ionian Sea around the Greek island of Corfu is perfect for a wide range of water sports. Set against a rugged, mountainous backdrop, the beaches are in stark contrast - flat, calm and endlessly relaxing.
Corfu makes life easy. The sun is typically shining bright, the sea is just the right temperature and the local cuisine is fresh and flavoursome. A visit to Corfu Town brings medieval times back to life and the opportunity to learn more about the interesting history of the island which spans French, Venetian and British rule at different points over the years.
Athens and Corfu will both leave a lasting impression on you when you book our Greek multi-centre holiday.
Santorini
The striking whitewashed houses that are dotted around Santorini’s coast are admired all over the world. They provide a beautiful contrast to the deep blue Aegean Sea that laps at the pebbled beaches below.
Santorini is also famous for its churches with their individual designs and soothing views out over the water. There are few more romantic holiday experiences than watching the sunset in Santorini. It’s time to find out for yourself.
