Venice Multi Centre Holidays 2024 / 2025

Our Venice multi centre holidays provide a great way to immerse yourself in cities throughout Italy. The Floating City is a fabulous short break destination in its own right and renowned for its canals and amazing architecture, among other things.

Getting around by gondola or water taxi is a terrific way to travel between different parts of the city. There are plenty of great things to see and do, with Doge’s Palace, the Rialto Bridge, St. Mark’s Basilica and Piazza San Marco considered some of Venice’s most acclaimed attractions.

There are some more unusual places to visit in Venice, too. One example is the Calletta Varisco, one of the narrowest streets in the world at just 53cm at its smallest point. Another is Libreria Acqua Alta, a Venetian bookstore that’s so prone to flooding you’ll find the books displayed in boats and bathtubs to ensure they don’t get destroyed by the canal water. 

A holiday to Venice offers plenty of cultural attractions. Browsing the Peggy Guggenheim Collection of art, catching a show at the Opera House and heading to the top of the Campanile Di San Marco (a bell tower) for awesome views are a trio of terrific things to add to your Venice holiday itinerary. 

Talking of views, there’s a place that often flies under the radar that boasts the best views of the Grand Canal. Make your way to the T F Fondaco Building’s Rooftop Terrace, where you can watch all the boats going about their business on the waterway far below.
