Kandy is a city in central Sri Lanka with a lake of the same name and is surrounded by majestic mountain peaks. The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is one of the most important Buddhist sites in the world and a trip around this ancient temple is an enlightening experience. You’ll also find the Royal Palace of Kandy at the same location.

There are many other sacred places to visit when you’re in Kandy such as the Church of St. Paul, and the city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
